Welcome!

New England’s rugged hills and winding dirt roads are the perfect backdrop for a true gravel and quiet back road adventure. The Rifugio to Rifugio Ride begins in Connecticut’s Litchfield Hills and travels north through the rolling terrain of the Berkshires, across the spine of Vermont’s Green Mountains, and finishes at Rifugio Darling Hill in the Northeast Kingdom.

Over five days, you’ll experience handpicked gravel routes, complete ride support, comfortable three-star accommodations, and a dynamic group of fellow riders. This ride blends scenic effort with end-of-day reward, bringing you from ridge to river, village to village — all with the purpose of connecting two adventure hubs built to serve the cycling community.
